This year, the Banding Test will take place on Saturday 26th November 2022:

Applicants will be expected to arrive at their respective site for 9:00am, where they will be met by SMSJ staff.  Please collect your child from the same site promptly at 10:00am.

Confirmation of your child’s applicant number and the Campus which they will be attending will be sent via e-mail as soon as possible. If you have not received this communication by the afternoon of Tuesday 22nd November, then please contact admissions@smsj.london.

As per our admissions policy, all applicants MUST attend the Banding Test.

Please note:

• Applicants who are late will be unable to take the test, there are no alternative dates.
• Applicants will be registered by SMSJ staff at each Campus. Parents and Carers cannot come on site due to the numbers we are expecting but there will be staff to guide the applicants into school.
• Parking will not be available – please travel to school by foot or by public transport wherever possible to ease congestion in the local area.

SMSJ is not a selective school, this is not an entrance exam: the test only serves admissions (banding) purposes.
