Are you a motivated and enthusiastic teacher who wants to shape the development of our expanding all-through school?

Would you like to join our “happy and harmonious school” (Ofsted 2017)?

Dear Prospective Colleague,

Thank you for taking an interest in applying for a position at St Mary’s and St John’s CE School. SMSJ is currently graded ‘good’ by Ofsted and Outstanding by SIAMs in 2017.

SMSJ is a centre of academic excellence. Originally a successful primary school, we expanded in 2014 to become Barnet’s first all-through provision. All of the work that we do is founded on our belief that with God, all things are possible. We welcome students and staff of all faiths, and none at all, and pride ourselves on the “sense of community that exists” (Ofsted, July 2017). We believe in a creative curriculum and are always prepared to try something new and innovative.

As a growing school we can offer many exciting and career advancing opportunities. We are well placed to develop your teaching practice and leadership qualities. We are also a highly supportive team.

The recruitment of excellent staff is always our priority. We hope you will join us.
