- Outcomes will be emailed out by the Local Authority to applicants in the evening of this date

Performing Arts Scholarship Year 7 - September 2027 entry
SMSJ is a school with an exciting Performing Arts specialism. Scholarships are available for current Year 5 pupils with talents in music, drama and dance who would like to join the school in September 2027. Follow this link to find out more about the enhanced Performing Arts provision at SMSJ.
Applications for the Performing Arts Scholarship for Secondary Transfer (September 2027 entry to Year 7) may be submitted from Friday 27th February to Wednesday 3rd June 2026.
All applications must be submitted online by 5pm Wednesday 3rd June 2026 with only one specialism per named applicant accepted.

You should make an in-year admission application if:
- your child lives in Barnet and does not currently have a school place
- your child has recently moved to Barnet from abroad or elsewhere and needs a school place
- your child has a school place but you want to transfer them to a school in Barnet
