Children are assessed regularly, both formally each term and informally during lessons as they progress through KS2.  In the Summer term of Year 6, formal assessments are undertaken in English (including reading, writing (which is teacher assessed), grammar, punctuation and spelling) and Maths, in accordance with government guidelines.  Results are reported to the Local Authority and to parents in the end of year report.
